Welcome to the online version of AIM on knowledge, a magazine written and produced by college students from the Cégep Beauce-Appalaches.

WHAT'S NEW?

Suburbs:

An area on the edge of a large town or city where people who work in the town or city live.

This section of AIM on knowledge is devoted to the suburbs. Students were asked to reflect on the suburbs as the place where most of them come from, where they grew up, where they might actually establish themselves after their studies. The editorial texts they wrote reflect on various aspects related to suburban life: environmental issues, conformity, overconsumption, transportation, safety and so on.

Where I Come From:

As for this section, students searched their childhood memories to come up with objects, expressions, brands that best create a picture of where they come from.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that the majority of the pictures you will see in this section were taken by students in the 103 English class and from students in the Visual Arts program.

Folder: Famous Canadians

The 2015 version of the magazine is devoted to famous but not well-known Canadians who invented, discovered or accomplished amazing things. We hope you enjoy reading, browsing through or working with the site.
